ITIL® V3 Foundation - eLearning Plus exam Prep

This book and related online video series is the fasted and the most inexpensive way to prepare for the certification. I primarily watched the video series. Watched them twice and finished the quiz and the mock exam. Online videos cover all the topics required for the exam. I only referred the book when I was stuck at a particular question. Skimmed through the book once, primarily studied with help of the video series.

Very good book supplemented by some great test questions available online as part of the book purchase. The videos that were also accessible online with the book were extremely helpful.
This supplemented with some test questions from some other websites and various reading allowed me to pass the ITIL foundation exam on the first try.

This book is very easy to read and is a great summary of all the content required for the official exam. The accompanying elearning program follows the book quite closely and allows one to quickly review the content covered by the book just before the test. I liked the fact that, because of the similar structure, I could follow the online course and at the same time use the book as a direct reference.

The book could however have been edited with greater care and some diagrams could have looked better. But on the whole I was very happy with this purchase which helped me to successfully obtain my ITIL v3 Foundation Certification with flying colours. (Posted on 8/4/11)

This book is easy to read and even comes with an eLearning program. For the price you can not beat this deal. i would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to take this certification and pass on the first try. (Posted on 2/1/11)

This study guide is a good material for ITIL v3 examination preparation. The book's content is easily understand and fully cover the whole examination area. ALso, the books have many diagram and picture to explain some complicated concepts.

I read the books around 2 times and their eLearning resources, and passed the exam last two weeks. Now, I am going to prepare the intermediate level now.

The books is one of my recommendation on ITIL v3 Foundation self-studying.

This book and the elearning program is probably the best resource to help you pass the exam. The book needs some refinement and structural changes as suggested by other commentators. It feels as if it was put together in a hurry to beat the competition ;) But I will still give it 5 stars just for the elearning program. It is very engaging and helps grasp the concepts quicker.

I would recommend to start learning from the elearning program followed by the book to make it more interesting and easier to grasp.

When I first received this book, I thought it should be at least an inch thick. Turned out it is a slim book and easy to read. The topics are well organized with sufficient charts to help you learn the materials quickly. It could be a bit dry if you keep reading for hours. However, once I discovered that this book comes with the eLearning for 3 months, the study became much more fun and interactive. The eLearning guides you through the entire Foundation curriculum. I passed the exam in one shot with 10+ hours of light study. I recommend this book. (Posted on 2/1/11)

The book has the right level of details for the concept, theory and pratical knowlege that will help you pass the exam and keep learning ITIL. Comparing to many other IT books that I read or try to read thoughtout the years, this one is a keeper. Hightly Recommend.
